Last nights meetup was great. Good conversations about mishaps with WordPress and computers in general! Lessons learned, accepting payments on your site can have many caveats, it’s always ok, and sometime necessary to hire someone better then you to fix something and avoid too much overhead! Our meetup was happy to have Jonathan Desrosiers, Co-Release Coordinator for the next release of WordPress. WP 5.8 is scheduled for release July 20, 2021.
Many thanks to our speaker and host Ken Unangst. Ken’s Allentown company, Digital Feast, is doing some awesome work in the area of video on the web and digital storytelling! This was a wonderful presentation not only of what is being done now with video and the web but what the future may look like!
Many thanks to Liam Dempsey for sharing his method of working with Bitbucket and the GitHub desktop application. For reference you can find Liam’s slides here.
